Michael D. John, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexington before completing his three-year residency in dermatology at the University of Louisville. 

He then served four years in the U.S. Air Force as a dermatologist. Dr. John was at the Oklahoma City Clinic for five years before establishing the Edmond Dermatology Clinic in 1990. Dr. John is a clinical associate professor at the Department of Dermatology at University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

Dr. Andrew John grew up in Edmond, graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 2002 and attended the University of Tulsa. He graduated with his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences in 2006. 

His medical school training was completed at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine and upon obtaining his MD, he did a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at St. John's OU Tulsa Internal Medicine Program. Following his training in IM, he completed a year in Dermatology Research Fellowship prior to completing a three-year residency in dermatology at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. 

He joined the Edmond Dermatology Clinic in August 2015 to begin his career in private practice. Dr. Andrew R. John is married to Dr. Ashley Ford and they reside with their daughter in Edmond.
