Diagnosis & Treatment
Dr. John treats a wide array of skin problems: acne, rashes, keratosis, eczema, psoriasis, hives, and contact dermatitis such as poison ivy and oak. We provide services for hair loss, fungus, skin cancers, aging, excessive perspiration, and sun damage. Please ask us about evaluation and treatment for spider bites, warts, moles, birthmarks, and nail disorders. We do have a unit for ultraviolet light treatments. Our staff will work to accommodate your appointment needs, especially if you believe you have an emergency problem. We encourage patients who require immediate evaluation to call frequently for cancellations if we have no immediate openings.
If this is your first visit to Edmond Dermatology Clinic, please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out new patient information. Bring your insurance card and applicable co-pay each visit. Co-pay will be collected when you check in. Since blood work and biopsies are sometimes necessary, please contact your insurance company so we can send specimens to the correct lab necessary to process your insurance claims correctly.
If you are an established patient, it is also helpful to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to update your record.
If you need to send or need a copy of Medical Records for any reason, please be advised we will accommodate you as quickly as possible. The turn around time rarely takes longer than 14 days and is often much quicker. If your request requires a personal letter from Dr. John, please allow extra time. A fee for a record service may apply in accordance with the Oklahoma statutes. A signed release is necessary.
